NIPTON, Calif. - A cannabis company in California is taking an unusual step to attract new customers.

They're buying an entire town.

American Green is purchasing the tiny town of Nipton, California, near the Nevada border, for about $5 million.

It plans to make the town a pot-friendly tourist destination, capitalizing on California legalizing marijuana.

The town includes a general store, a hotel, a school building, and mineral baths.

There is no word on what will happen to the town's 20 current residents.
