HOUSTON – Police said an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend escalated into a shooting in northeast Houston Friday morning.
Houston police officers said a man showed up to a home in the 3800 block of Dabney, and the man started arguing with his ex-girlfriend. She went inside the home and at one point, the man rammed his SUV into the front door of the home.

Police were called to investigate. When they left, the man returned to the home and a fight broke out between the man and his ex-girlfriend.
Officers said the man dragged the woman out of the home. Officers believe the man was then shot in the arm.
It’s unclear who fired the shot, but officers say the woman’s friend was also at the scene.
