The robbery happened Thursday at the I-10 west entrance ramp from Louisiana Street.

Investigators said one of the robbers got out of their car, pulled out a weapon and ordered the driver out of the vehicle. He then took off in the contract driver's vehicle, officials said.

Investigators said the crooks were driving a red 2001 Chevrolet Impala.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robbers. Officials said the criminals should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Postal Inspection Service at 713-238-4438.
