UPDATE: Man stabbed several times in nightclub bathroom dies

HOUSTON - A man who police say was attacked and stabbed in the bathroom of a north Harris County nightclub has died.

Police responded to Buho's Night Club on West Mount Houston Road around 11:45 p.m. on Friday, March 14.

Officers say they found 29-year-old Wilmer Vargas who had been stabbed several times laying outside.

According to the Houston Police Department Homicide Division, Vargas was a customer inside the club that night. Police say when Vargas went to the bathroom, someone inside stabbed him.

Vargas managed to stumble to the front of the business, where he collapsed. 

He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he died on March 19.

At this point, officers say there are no known witnesses to the stabbing, and no motive for the attack.
