HOUSTON - Tropical Depression 7 degenerated into a tropical wave Saturday morning.

In the National Hurricane Center's 10 a.m. advisory, the tropical wave was about 40 miles east of Barbados with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph. It was moving west at 25 mph.

All tropical storm watches were discontinued.

"Squally weather is still likely across portions of the Lesser Antilles today and tonight," the NHC said. "This is the last public advisory issued by the National Hurricane Center on this system unless regeneration occurs."
