The train, hauling dozens of Abrams tanks, was traveling northbound at around 25 mph when the truck tried to beat the train past an intersection, missed a gear going over the tracks and collided with the train, according to the Cy Fair Volunteer Fire Department.

Sky 2 was over the scene and the truck was off to the side of the tracks in a ditch at the intersection. The front of the cement mixer was smashed in.

Two of the train cars were separated, but still on the tracks, to let emergency vehicle pass through.
