HOUSTON – Trail riders from all over Texas arrived in Houston Saturday morning, completing their annual journey to Memorial Park to attend the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.Â
Ultimately, the trail riders will make their way downtown for the rodeo parade, sporting their Western gear and buggies to join in on the yearly festivities.Â
Each year, more than 3,000 trail riders partake in what has become the rodeo’s trademark event.
Everyone has their boots on and is getting ready for the @RODEOHOUSTON parade this morning.

First event of the day is the dignitary reception at @hobbycenter. Great to see @UHpres and others. #RODEOHOUSTON pic.twitter.com/gz0rSM0Uoq
