Woman wrestled, robbed by gunman in Jacinto City

JACINTO CITY - Police said a man is on the run after wrestling and robbing a female clerk at a storage facility in Jacinto City.

It happened in the 10900 block of the East Freeway on Thursday.

Surveillance video showed the man first pretending to be a customer. Then, he walked around behind the counter, put the woman in a head lock, pointed a gun in her face and then forced her to open the register.

Officials said the man walked out of the store and headed east on the feeder road.

Police said the clerk was terrified, but fortunately, she not physically hurt.
