Webster man arrested for mother's murder

WEBSTER - Police said the son of the woman who was shot and killed outside of a Webster flower shop has been arrested for his mother's murder.

Webster police responded to Nasa Flowers Saturday night around 7:30 p.m. for a report of a robbery in progress.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the flower shop's owner, 68-year-old Brenda Dickey, who had been shot to death.

On Thursday, police arrested Mark Dickey, 44, for his mother's murder.

Dickey was booked into the Webster Jail. Bond has not yet been set.
