HOUSTON - A METRO bus was one of several vehicles involved in an accident Sunday.
METRO police said the driver of a Dodge pickup truck was most likely drunk, although that driver has not yet been identified and charges are pending.
Police said the driver of the truck slammed into the METRO bus carrying 26 passengers near Crosstimbers, flew off the highway's main lanes and plowed into at least two cars near Northline Mall.
"We were just all shaking because if he hit us we would be injured, we would be in the hospital right now," Kassandra Loera said.
Loera and her father were sitting in their parked van when the speeding pickup truck clipped the rear of the van.
The truck then hit a Honda Accord and rolled over.
Police said the driver was not injured, but two other people did suffer injuries.
