Three burglaries in four days in Friendswood neighborhood

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – Friendswood police have a crime alert after three burglaries within four days in the Autumn Creek area.

According to Friendswood police, the first burglary happened on May 3, at a home in the 2800 block of Burr Oak Drive. Officers were called out to the scene after a burglar alarm. They say they found broken glass at the back door of the home.

Police say the burglars took a pillow case from the master bedroom, but left it empty at the scene. The homeowners say the only thing stolen was a small, empty safe.

On May 5, a man returned home to find his front door open in the 3300 block of Prince George. He called police. Friendswood police say jewelry, small electronics, a computer and silverware were stolen, as well as a pillowcase from the master bedroom.

Later on the same day, another burglary was reported in the 3500 block of Cortona Lane. Officers say a large bathroom window on the side of the home had been smashed. Several pieces of jewelry were taken from the master bedroom.
