Texans TE Daniels out 4-6 weeks with broken leg

Headline Goes Here

Owen Daniels

HOUSTON - Houston Texans TE Owen Daniels suffered a broken leg toward the end of the San Francisco game Sunday night and will be out at least 4-6 weeks, Local 2 Sports Director Randy McIlvoy reports.

Head coach Gary Kubiak said Garrett Graham will start in Daniels' place.

Despite Graham playing well this season, the injury is a blow to a team trying to turn things around after three consecutive losses.

"Obviously, you want OD out there, but he's gonna heal up, he's got time. The bye week will come at a good time for him," said Watt. "Garrett's a great football player and so he's gonna come in and he's gonna do great for us."

Daniels had 24 receptions for 252 yards and 3 TDs so far this season.

He could miss up to 8 weeks if he's placed on the Injured Reserve - Designated to Return list.

The Texans host the Rams at Reliant Stadium on Sunday.
