HOUSTON - Police are searching for the burglars who broke into an ice cream shop in northwest Houston.

It happened Tuesday around 2:30 a.m. at the Marble Slab Creamery on the Northwest Freeway and Mangum Road.

When HPD arrived, officers say they found the front glass door broken, but the culprits had already fled.

Police say they are waiting for the owner of the business to arrive in order to find out what, if anything, was stolen.

They also plan to check out the surveillance video at the business.
