Surveillance video released of aggravated robbery suspects

HOUSTON - Police are hoping newly released surveillance video will help them find the two suspects wanted in an aggravated robbery from August.

It happened on around 7:10 p.m. on August 11 outside the Stop and Shop convenience store located in the 9300 block of Long Point Road.

Houston police said a 28-year-old man was standing outside of the store when his friend got into an argument with at least two Hispanic men. As the friend was fighting with one suspect, the man tried to intervene and a second suspect stabbed him in the chest.

Officials said the suspects then got into their vehicle, described as a 2001 to 2007 tan Nissan or Toyota four-door sedan, and drove off.

The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in serious condition.

Police said further investigation determined the victim was also robbed of an unknown amount of money.

Anyone with information in this case or who can identify the wanted suspects should call the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
