Police search for shooter in northwest Houston

HOUSTON - Police are searching for a gunman who shot a man at a northwest Houston apartment complex.

It happened Tuesday around 9:45 p.m. at the Amir Apartment II complex on Gulf Bank Road and Stream Side Drive.

According to Houston police, the two men knew each other and were drinking in the parking lot.

Then for unknown reasons the men got into an argument, and that is when police say one pulled out a gun and opened fire.

The shooter then fled the scene before police arrived.

The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.
