HOUSTON - Houston police descended on a southwest Houston strip club early Monday morning, but what they were after remains a mystery.

Just before 2:30 a.m., officers arrived at V Live gentleman's club on Richmond Avenue near Jeanetta.

The owner of the club, Damone Johnson, told Local 2 there was a rap concert Sunday night featuring two artists.

Johnson said there were no altercations or violence before police rushed inside, but the club was crowded.

"There were so many people the line wrapped around the corner," said Johnson. "The people were hollering, too many people."

Johnson said the club had its own security.

After undercover and other officers arrived, two men were handcuffed and put into the back of squad cars.

It was unclear if they were detained for questioning or if they will be facing charges.

In the last year, the V Live strip club was visited by entertainers Drake, Rihanna, and Justin Bieber.
