HOUSTON - Interfaith Ministries is holding a pet food drive to help seniors on the Meals on Wheels program.

The aniMeals on Wheels Pet Food Drive was created four years ago so seniors would not feel compelled to share their limited food with their dogs and cats.

The drive is Friday until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston at 3217 Montrose Blvd.

Dog and cat food, both wet and dry, are needed. Toys and treats will also be collected.

aniMeals on Wheels is a completely donation- and volunteer-driven program delivering more than 7,000 pounds of dog and cat food to more than 400 seniors each month.
