Pepper spray used to stop fight at school

PASADENA, Texas - Police had to use pepper spray to break up a fight between two girls on a Pasadena school campus.

The scene started in the lunch room at the Pasadena High School, 206 South Shaver Street, around 10:40 a.m. Thursday.

A total of six students nearby breathed the fumes of the pepper spray and were taken to Bayshore Hospital to be treated.

As of Friday morning, all six students had been released.

Both 16-year-old girls involved in the fight were ticketed for disorderly conduct.

Investigators said one of the girls was also treated at the hospital.
