Men charged in connection with game room robberies

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Five men were charged in connection with two game room robberies from summer 2013 in west Harris county near Katy.

The first robbery happened just after midnight June 14 at The Jokers Wild game room at 930 S. Mason Road.

According to investigators, $70,000 was stolen from customers and/or the business.

The second robbery happened around 2 a.m. on July 27 at a game room on 2002 Fry Road.

Elbert Avie, 47, was arrested and connected to both robberies, deputies said.

Deputies arrested Jeremiah Dellavecchia, 27, in connection with June robbery on S. Mason Road.

Kendrick Wilder, 22, Sheriff Eyitayo, 21 and Khristian Perez, 24, were charged in the July robbery, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.

All were arrested except for Perez, said detectives.
