HOUSTON - Houston's historic flooding in May was the topic of a meeting in Meyerland on Sunday.
Mayoral candidate Chris Bell held a press conference in the Braes Heights neighborhood to call for an investigation into the reason for the flooding and the city's response.
"Today I am calling for an outside, independent investigation to be funded by the city of Houston and Harris County to get to the bottom of exactly what happened and why on Memorial Day," Bell said.
FEMA help is still available for people whose homes were flooded in the Memorial Day storm.
