Man dies after rollover crash on Southwest Freeway

HOUSTON - A man died after a rollover crash on the Southwest Freeway early Monday.

Police said the sedan was headed southbound near Edloe Street when the driver lost control. He slammed into a barricade, and the vehicle flipped over and into the high-occupancy-vehicle lane shortly after 12 a.m.

The driver died on the scene.

Police said they'll have to wait for autopsy results and other evidence to see if they can figure out what caused the crash.

The victim has not been identified.

No one else was hurt.
