KATY – Katy ISD police issued a stranger danger alert after a suspicious woman was reported near one of its elementary schools.
It happened around 7:50 a.m. Monday in the 4800 block of Hickory Downs Drive located near Bear Creek Elementary.

Katy ISD police said a few elementary students were walking to school when a Hispanic female in a van stopped and motioned for one of them to come to her vehicle.
According to police, the student refused and the van drove away.
The suspicious person is described as a 40-year-old woman. She was driving a dark blue Ford van.
