HOUSTON - A man was hospitalized after being shot twice during an argument in northeast Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at around 1 a.m Sunday on the corner of Delevan and Winship Street.

Two men were in a heated argument when one pulled out a gun and shot the other twice, once in the arm and stomach, police say.

The victim then took off in his car and drove to a Chevron station at the corner of East Crosstimbers and the 59 Eastex Freeway.

He then called 911 and was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in serious but stable condition.

The victim managed to tell HPD the suspect's name and where the shooting happened.

Police went to that location and found the man talking on his cell phone. The suspect was then arrested.
