Houston's Bush IAH makes list of worst weather airports in U.S.

Headline Goes Here

HOUSTON - Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport has landed on the Weather Channel's list of the Top 10 Worst Weather U.S. Airports.

IAH came in at number 5.  According to the Weather Channel, the reason is because of frequent thunderstorms, which can cause delays, and Houston's close location to the Gulf of Mexico, which is prone to fog and low clouds.

Another Texas airport made the list.  Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport came in at number 6 because of thunderstorms.  San Francisco International Airport came in first place because of fog.

The Weather Chann=nel examined data from some of the largest airports in the country, including the number of weather-related delays and the percentage of delays due to weather to create the 10 worst-weather airports list.
