PASADENA, Texas – A 14-year-old girl died after falling into a Pasadena bayou, fire and rescue officials said.
At around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the girl was pulled out of the water near West Jackson Street and South Richey Street. The girl got too close to a railing over Vince Bayou and fell in, a spokesman for the Pasadena Police Department said. She floated down a few yards before being pulled from the water.
The girl was taken to Bayshore Medical Center where she died.
