HOUSTON - Alamo Drafthouse is offering furloughed NASA employees a free movie to ease the government shutdown stress.

Thousands of NASA employees can see a free screening of the space thriller 'Gravity.'

They can choose to see the film starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney in 2D or 3D.

Tickets are available at the lobby box office with presentation of a NASA employee I.D.

A spokesman says it is one ticket per NASA employee.

Alamo Drafthouse has a Houston-area location in the 500 block of Mason Road and a second location in the 100 block of Park Boulevard.
