By the time firefighters arrived at the home on Glenwolde and Brookwulf, there were flames shooting from the roof.

Emergency crews said the fire was so large and intense, they had some trouble getting it under control. Eventually, they were able to put it out and prevent the flames from spreading to neighboring homes.

Two adults and a child were inside the home when the fire started.  All three were able to get to safety without injury.

HFD arson investigators took over the scene to figure out what caused the fire to start.
