Baytown jewelry store robbery

BAYTOWN - Shay's Jewelry and Gifts jewelry store off Garth road was robbed by two armed men in Baytown.

Police said one suspect walked into the store asking about they accept some type of a payment plan.  He was given a credit application and began to fill it out.

A second suspect walked towards the back of the store and held two  store employees at gunpoint.

Meanwhile police said the first suspect pulled out a pistol and pointed it at a customer and ordered her to the ground. 

He then ordered the store owner at gunpoint to hand him the keys to the front jewelry cases.

Surveillance video shows the man jump over the counter and try to open the jewelry cases.

After failing to open them, police said he ordered an employee to open them and started to raid them.

The suspect at the back of the store then handcuffed employees with zip ties and fled the scene with undetermined amount of jewelry.
