Backhoe hits gas line, bursts into flames

HOUSTON - A backhoe hit a gas line and burst into flames in northwest Houston.

The fire in the 2000 block of West 34th is out now. A public works employee was hurt, but it's not clear how badly.

Crews are still trying to get control of the gas leak.

Firefighters have been spraying the area to cool it off.
