HOUSTON - We are now learning new details about a high school senior found dead the day after her prom.

Autopsy results from the teenager say the cause of death is "undetermined."

Jacqueline Gomez was discovered dead in a hotel room last month, where police say she had spent the night with her boyfriend after prom.

The boyfriend called police after he couldn't wake Gomez the next morning. When investigators arrived, Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gomez, 17, was a student at MacArthur High School.

Detectives say they do not suspect foul play. They also don't believe Gomez's date had anything to do with her death.

Investigators found alcohol and prescription painkillers inside the hotel room.
