HOUSTON -  Ever lock eyes with someone and later regret not introducing yourself? With a new app, there's always still hope!

"Happn" is a free app for Apple and Android smartphones that registers through your Facebook account. Once it's all set up, the app keeps a log of everyone users cross paths with throughout the day.

Later, users can check through the log and get in touch with other people who have the dating app installed. And for privacy reasons, it's only possible to chat if both people indicate they're interested. It also doesn't give out specific locations someone visited

"Happn" has already taken off in France and the company says it's seeing major growth in other European cities like London and Berlin. It has more than 350,000 members and 100,000 daily active users.
