HOUSTON - Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting in northeast Houston that left two people dead, police said.

The shooting happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 3800 block of Leila near Russell.

Police said three men entered a drug house, demanded cash and shot two men inside.

One person died inside the home, while the other ran outside and died in the street, investigators said.

Officials said three suspects fled in a white, Ford pickup.
