Sugar Land police investigating possible connection

SUGAR LAND, Texas - Police are investigating a series of car burglaries that happened in the same Sugar Land neighborhood.

All of the vehicle break-ins happened on Wednesday within blocks of each other near First Colony Boulevard -- along Meadow Glade, Red Oak, Raintree, and Colony Lakes.

"[I'm] mad, that people are going through things," said one victim.  "I mean, everyone works, and why do [they] have to be doing things like that instead of finding jobs or doing something instead of breaking into cars?"

Police said they believe the burglaries are connected because they are so close together and are similar in nature.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
