Texans open ‘Houston Texans Teen Club' with ‘Boys & Girls Club'

HOUSTON – The Houston Texans announced Tuesday afternoon the opening of Houston Texans Teen club in partnership with the “Boys & Girls Club.”

The event was began about 3:30 p.m. at 1520 Airline Drive.

The program is based for teens in Houston and the first in the nation to be supported by an NFL team.

The Texans signed a 5-year partnership in February with the BGCGH and created the new Teens club with a gift of $750,000, which is the largest donation by a professional sports team in Houston.

The facility will be exclusively for teens between the ages of 14 and 17.

At the opening, Texans player’s Jadeveon Clowney, Andre Hal and Greg Mancz played video games and pool with the kids.
