Man stabs teens snapping pics outside north Houston home

HOUSTON – Two teens were stabbed several times in north Houston late Monday night, and police said they are looking for the man responsible.

The stabbing happened just before midnight outside a home on Charles Street and Shady Lane.

Some people were outside in the backyard when a car pulled up, according to Houston police. They said the victims were outside taking pictures when that car drove by.

Police said the driver thought they were taking pictures of him so he stopped, got out and confronted the teens. They said a fight broke out and the man stabbed the teens several times.

One teen was stabbed in the arm, the other teen was stabbed in the chest and neck, police said. The two male victims, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old, were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police described the assailant as a black male with a beard and dreadlocks seen leaving the area in a cream-colored Impala.

Anyone with information about the case should call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
