Juvenile also involved, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A 17-year-old was arrested Wednesday after shooting out windows in as many as 50 vehicles since Jan. 22, deputies said.

More than 30 incidents were reported in West Harris County in the Lakeside Estates and Walnut Bend neighborhoods.

Deputies said Dominic George Salazar, 17, confessed to the crimes after he was arrested.

Deputies said while canvassing a neighborhood they recovered footage of the suspect's vehicle, which led them to Salazar.

The pellet guns used were recovered, deputies said.

Salazar is charged with two counts of criminal mischief.

Salazar has posted bond.

Deputies said a juvenile was also involved. His case is being reviewed by the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
