A 70-year-old woman was walking into the Whole Foods at 4004 Bellaire Blvd. on Feb. 7 when prosecutors said Wilson approached her from behind, grabbed her purse and pushed her to the ground.

Another suspect then kicked the woman's head while she was on the ground.

Wilson and the co-defendant jumped in a stolen Ford Focus and left the scene, according to police.

A witness was able to take a photo of the vehicle, which was found abandoned in a ditch four days later.

Investigators said they found a fingerprint on the car's rearview mirror and that it matched a fingerprint of a man already in police custody for a robbery.

That man said Wilson was related to him, according to police. Investigators said the pair were arrested in December for a similar strong-arm-style robbery.

Police said the witness was able to positively identify Wilson in a photo array.
