3 men lead police on chase after robbing Game Stop, officials say

HOUSTON – Police have arrested three men who led police on a chase after they were accused of robbing a Game Stop Thursday, authorities said.

According to officers, three men robbed a Game Stop at 5598 North Freeway around 4 p.m.

Police were able to catch up to the robbers vehicle, and when authorities attempted to pull the car over, they said the vehicle sped up.

Officers said the vehicle hit another car, a house and started a gas leak before crashing at 9300 Lockwood Drive.

Sara Arzola lives at the house into which the suspects crashed. She told KPRC2 she was sitting at her kitchen table when she heard a loud crash on the other side of the wall.

Outside, the black Cadillac being driven by the accused robbers sat in her front yard. It had crashed into a garage, as well as a brick wall.

Arzola escaped unhurt.

The group is accused of crashing into a car before striking Arzola's home.

The driver, a male, was rushed to the hospital.

"A lot of car crashes happen here in front of our home and corner but I never thought something like this would happen in my home and I didn't have any time to react," Arzola said.

Police said the men jumped out of the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot before they were caught and taken into custody.

Their identities are unknown at this point.
