Suspects flee after attempted ATM smash-and-grab at CVS store

HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for suspects who fled after a failed smash-and-grab attempt at a CVS store early Tuesday.

According to police, an unknown number of suspects backed a pickup truck through the front door of the pharmacy on Washington at T.C. Jester around 1:30 a.m.

They tried to knock the ATM loose, but missed and decided to give up, fleeing on foot.

The store was open at the time, but no one was injured.
