HOUSTON - Charges have been filed against two suspects in connection with a fatal shooting in northwest Houston.

Andrew Levy Griffin, 23, and David Terrel Resby, 26, are charged with murder.

According to Houston police, back on March 19, Dennis Davis, 26, went into a convenience store in the 1400 block of Greens Parkway and attempted to get change for a $20 bill.

When the clerk was unable to do so, Davis left the store and asked a person in a group outside the store to break the bill.

Police say the money was taken from Davis, who then left the store and went home.
Officers say Davis and three other males, went back to the store to confront the person who took the money.

As the four males drove away from the convenience store, several shots were fired from a wooded median at Greens Parkway at Fall Lake. Davis was struck and died at the scene.

The other victim, 15-year-old Keenan Citizen, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in good condition.

Police say further investigation identified Griffin and Resby as suspects in this case and both were arrested without incident.
