SURFSIDE BEACH, Texas – Some residents in Surfside Beach are concerned about water storm surge and high tide as Harvey approaches.
People are visiting the community's gas station to fill up Thursday.
Some said they will ride out the storm, while others plan to evacuate and move inland.
Longtime residents said Harvey is something everyone along the coast should take seriously.

Brazoria County was not under evacuation orders as of Thursday morning, but that could change as Harvey churns closer to the coast.
