When Disney bought the Star Wars franchise in 2012 for $4 billion, some were skeptical. Others were waiting on the Disneyland rides.

For the people in the latter category, Disney is getting oh-so-close to that reality – not only in California, but in Florida at Disney World as well.

In a video released by Disney and posted on The Hollywood Reporter, drone footage shows the progress being made on the 14-acre attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The Hollywood Reporter notes the new attraction is scheduled to open in 2019 at both Disneyland and Disney World.

In the video, scaffolds and cranes tower above the area being shaped into the planet of Batuu, a depot at the edge of the galaxy that is home to adventurers and smugglers throughout the universe.

Officially called Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the new attraction was originally announced in 2015, with construction beginning in April 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Hollywood Reporter said the two attractions will give guests a chance to take the controls of the Millennium Falcon on a secret mission and experience a "climactic battle" between the First Order and the Resistance.
