KPRC reached out to Snap Kitchen, and a spokesperson said that the company will not be closing any of its existing stores. In a statement, the spokesperson also said:

"In response to the tremendous growth at Snap Kitchen, they are opening a new state of the art southwest kitchen in Dallas, Fort. Worth and will be transitioning kitchens in Houston and Austin to focus on menu innovation and fresh baked gluten free goods. Houston’s Kirby kitchen will now be the cornerstone of creating new house made items like the paleo breakfast bun and classics like the Snap brownie.

“The southwest kitchen allows Snap Kitchen to cook more meals to meet customer demand, while still using the highest quality ingredients, cooking from scratch daily in small batches and delivering top notch food safety standards.

“All impacted employees were given 60 days notice. Snap Kitchen is providing job assistance, as well as helping to transition current employees into open roles.”
