Houston firefighters said a battery charger may have been the cause of the blaze, which was put out by sprinklers.

Gates E6 and E7 were closed while crews work to clean up the water, according to police. However, a spokesman for the airport said those gates were never closed.

No injuries were reported.

A spokesman for the airport said at 7 a.m. that all operations were normal.
