ROSHARON, Texas – A man plunged to his death after investigators say his parachute failed to open.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Skydive Spaceland in Rosharon.

Investigators said the man was on his fourth practice jump when his chute failed.
It is still unclear exactly why the victim's parachute never opened, or if his emergency chute was also affected.
