HOUSTON – Deputies briefly surrounded a home Thursday in east Harris County after authorities said they received reports of a shooting.
The shooting was reported about 3:30 a.m. at a home near Duncum and Hollywood streets.
According to witnesses, about seven gunshots were heard. Another witness said they heard several gunshots about 2 a.m.
KPRC 2 reporter Haley Hernandez said that deputies surrounded the home for a time, but that situation was resolved by the time she arrived. She said deputies would not release any details about the situation.
Hernandez said about 18 evidence markers could be seen in the area.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured in the shooting.
