Romanian prime minister promotes investment during Houston visit

HOUSTON – Romania's prime minister Victor Ponta was in town Friday visiting with oil executives.

He spoke to the group at the Petroleum Club downtown about enticing companies to invest in Romania's production of oil and gas for southeastern-central Europe. Ponta says the goal is to lessen its dependency on Russian energy and tap into Black Sea resources.

Local 2's Dominique Sachse had the chance to interview him.
