Robber hands customers doughnuts before fleeing

HOUSTON – While robbing a Shipley Do-Nuts in Houston, one of three robbers was sure to hand two customers doughnuts from behind the counter, surveillance video from Houston Police shows. 

It happened just before 3 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Shipley's at 6602 North Shepherd when three suspects entered the store, one of which was holding a handgun, jumped the counter and demanded money from the cash registers. A second man then jumped over the counter.

A third man then took customers cell phones and offered them doughnuts while the other two suspects were robbing the employees, surveillance video from Houston Police shows. 

The man then handed the customers doughnuts as the other two robbers were leaving. All three of the robbers then fled the location. 

The robbers are described as:

#1: Black male, around 5 feet 8 inches, black hoodie, blue pants and white bandana

#2: Black male, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches, black hoodie and red bandana

#3: Black male, 6 feet to 6 feet to 2 inches, multicolored hoodie, black pants and black bandana
