ROSENBERG, Texas - Someone stole rims and tires from more than a dozen vehicles at a car dealership, investigators said.

Rosenberg police said Finnegan Chevrolet, 26529 U.S. Highway 59, was targeted between 12 and 6 a.m. on Friday.

Detectives said rims and tires from 16 vehicles, including Chevrolet Texas Edition Silverado pickup trucks, GMC Texas Edition Sierra pickup trucks, GMC Terrain SUVs, GMC Yukon SUVs and Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4s were taken.

Some of the vehicles were left on wooden blocks, investigators said.

A fence on the west side of the dealership had been cut, officials said. Tracks from a dual wheel vehicle, possibly a box truck or a rental truck, were seen on the driveway between the dealership and a neighboring business, officials said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
