Reward raised to $20,000 for fugitive on 'most wanted' list

AUSTIN - Officials have increased the reward for one of Texas' 10 most wanted fugitives.

During the month of January, Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Anthony Gonzales, 40.

According to Texas Crime Stoppers, Gonzales is a known Texas Mexican Mafia gang member with a violent criminal history.

He is wanted for murder, engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated assault related to a 2008 incident in Corpus Christi. 

According to investigators, Gonzales and nine gang associates were involved in a shooting that left one person dead and three others hurt, including two children. 

All of the suspects have been captured except Gonzales.

Gonzales also goes by the name "Ghost." He has worked upholstery jobs in the past. 

He has several tattoos including the words "Lil Laura" on his left finger along with the words "Mexicano" and a female figure on his stomach. He also has multiple tattoos across the base of his neck and upper chest.

Anyone with information on Gonzales' whereabouts should call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477). All tipsters can remain anonymous.
